Dr. Dixit has enjoyed working with families, adolescents, college students, adults, and veterans in residential, inpatient, and outpatient settings. He believes change begins within a genuine relationship in which life stories can be mindfully explored and understood with intentionality and purpose. As our stories take shape, our choices become clear: to accept, to draw a new interpretation, or to change how we live life. Exercising these options often empowers us to become the writers of our own life story. To facilitate this process, Dr. Dixit works holistically, using mindfulness-based techniques to help integrate emotional, cognitive, and bodily sensations with moment-to-moment experiences.
