Dr. Keren has been practicing psychotherapy for nearly 30 years. His work is grounded in his advanced trainings in Psychoanalysis, psychoanalytic therapy, and Family Systems Therapy. Years of working first in community mental health and later in forensic settings, including state prisons and forensic psychiatric units, have helped Dr. Keren develop an approach to therapy that is practical and accessible. In addition to his clinical work Dr. Keren has taught on both the undergraduate and graduate level. He has been on the adjunct faculty of numerous doctoral programs and internship sites. He is currently on the faculty of the clinical psychology pre-doctoral internship program and co-coordinator of psychology extern training at Greystone Park Psychiatric Hospital.
