An expert in substance abuse treatment, Ms. D’Ambra has more than a decade of experience working with adults and adolescents in outpatient and residential settings. She treats people with substance use disorders and related mental health issues, as well as their loved ones. Her special interests include family dynamics and the unique challenges of the recovery process, and she supports her clients with encouragement and compassion. A licensed clinical alcohol and drug counselor, Ms. D’Ambra received specialized training in addition to her master of social work degree. Her extensive background in institutional policy development, licensing, and certification gives her added insight into treatment options for her clients.
