Highly experienced, Dr. Berman has provided psychotherapy to clients ranging from preschoolers to adults; she has also developed and directed programs for children and teens with psychiatric and behavioral problems at various sites in New Jersey and New York. Previously she was director of the Adolescent Therapeutic Day School partial hospitalization program at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ). Dr. Berman has consulted with parents and school systems in the areas of special education, program development, educational classification, and the development and implementation of IEPs and 504s. While at UMDNJ, she trained and supervised psychology interns, including those from the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.
