Art therapy

Art therapy is a nonverbal way to access and express your inner world. Often used alongside traditional talk therapy, it allows difficult emotions, thoughts, and memories to surface in a safe, protected environment. Relaxing, creative, and freeing, art therapy can help you calm anxiety and manage other difficult feelings. It helps you express the inexpressible, promoting deep healing.
Art therapy can benefit children and adults alike. It may involve drawing, painting, collage, or sculpture. Talent is not required: what's important is expression, not aesthetic appearance. Your art won't be judged. Rather, it will be interpreted—by you, with the help of your art therapist.
